Director Ridley Scott returns to the Alien universe that made his name and so after 13 years after his thrilling sci-fi horror, welcome to PROMETHEUS.

The long-anticipated PROMETHEUS, the prequel to the iconic sci-fi horror Alien, is almost here. In the first trailer that you can see online, as soon as you read the caption ‘from director Ridley Scott’ you know you’re finally returning to the universe where he made his name back in 1979.

And then there’s the cast. Noomi Rapace who created the role of Lisbeth Salander in the original Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo looks like an excellent new version of Sigourney Weaver’s iconic heroine Warrant Officer Ripley. The fantastic Michael Fassbender looks like he’s in control. Charlize Theron looks like she can’t be trusted. And then there’s Idris Elba, who just looks plain terrified. With the rest of the supporting cast consisting of up-and-coming American actor Logan-Marshall Green, alongside a trio of top British acting talent in Benedict Wong, Sean Harris, and Rafe Spall, Scott has once again put together a top-notch crew to tell this Alien origins story.

Get ready to return to space where everyone can you scream!!! Welcome to… PROMETHEUS.
