Replicants return in Blade Runner 2049

Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and director Denis Villeneuve make BLADE RUNNER 2049 a sequel to be very excited about.

In 1982, Ridley Scott brought us Philip K. Dick’s vision of Los Angeles 2019 in the now seminal sci-fi thriller Blade Runner. We saw a grizzled Harrison Ford as ex-cop Rick Deckard, now a ‘blade runner’ or hunter of ‘replicants’, cutting-edge androids who are virtually unrecognisable from humans and who must be tracked down and eliminated if they come to Earth. With a now legendary cast including Rutger Hauer, Daryl Hannah, Sean Young, Edward James Olmos, Brion James, Joanna Cassidy, M. Emmet Walsh, William Sanderson and Joe Turkel, the movie became a classic and the go-to source for many imitated futuristic films since.

In 2017, we’ll be transported into the future once again with Harrison Ford reprising his role in the long-awaited BLADE RUNNER 2049. This time he’s joined by a new but just as phenomenal cast as before including Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Mackenzie Davis and Barkhad Abdi. It’s directed by genius de jour Denis Villeneuve and the first teaser trailer has just hit the web.

That’s all that needs to be said really by a very excited film buff.

And just look at this!!!! WOW…
